Jack Naifeng Zhao, an award-winning author of two books on the Chinese experience in Los Angeles, and a friend since we met by chance at a San Gabriel Valley Chinese restaurant, has just posted a long review of Jia Lu's work on his Chinese language blog. The article, titled "The Woman Who Brought a Bit of Heaven to the World" will appear in an upcoming issue of EDI City Newsweek, a popular Chinese language weekly. He reports he has already had over 11 thousand hits since the article was posted, more than any other article to date. We're impressed.
6/5/07 Apparently the www.jialu.com site is blocked in China. So are all the other domains we own, but we're not sure why. Everyone knows Jia is a huge fan of China and Chinese culture. We'll try to come up with a work around.
